“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
— Mark Twain

To photograph is to hold one’s breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It’s at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.
— Henri Cartier-Bresson
– From the book: “The Mind’s Eye: Writings on Photography and Photographers by Henri Cartier-Bresson

Normally as you all know I will share a quote from a famous Photographer every week. This week I am in a major funk and have a bad case of Cabin Fever.
Due to situations beyond our control we can’t travel. Yet!! My father in law has been having some health issues and until he is well and home. We will not even be able to consider traveling. The issues from his health hopefully will be resolved soon.

Lately some of my photography friends have been posting some wonderful images of there (their?) exploits. Which of course is making me turn to my archives and searching for images that I’ve not had the pleasure of working on. Till now……….. LOL
